Our X-ray department consists of two digital radiography units to provide a full spectrum of imaging services in a timely manner.
X-rays are the oldest and most frequent form of medical imaging, and are used to detect bone fractures, arthritis, scoliosis, tumours and infection.
General X-rays are done on a walk-in basis and do not require any preparation.
Prior to the X-ray, you may be asked to change into a gown and you may be asked to remove any objects containing metal. A technologist will then ask you to move in different ways to position you for the necessary images. X-ray procedures are quick, easy and painless.
Please inform the technologist before the procedure if there is any chance of pregnancy.
